1)Spring 2006 - Newropeans enters its 'expansion phase'

A brand new powerful extranet platform unites Newropeans members and provides the area for their trans-European political debates and development projects. And in a few weeks time, it will be the turn of the entire Newropeans corporate design and web appearance to be revamped. "In a few month time, Newropeans will be a unique trans-European political voice in the EU, well ahead of the European elections 2009", says Newropeans founding President Franck Biancheri

2)Newropeans Magazine hits web-traffic records
With 10 millions page-views over the past 30 days (source Alexa.com), Newropeans-Magazine - the only trans-European Internet media to provide each day a European perspective on world news in the two main trans-European languages (English and French) - now reaches out a very substantial part of the EU influential 'French & English' readership. It has also started to attract new audiences in the English-speaking world (namely the USA and Canada) and in the French speaking world (Africa).

3) German and Spanish ‘invited’ on Newropeans-Magazine

In order to reach out a wider audience, Newropeans-Magazine is about to initiate a new policy of 'invited languages'. From next month onward, each week, 2 or 3 articles in two 'invited languages' - German, the main native European language, and Spanish, the fast growing international language – will be posted on the website. If the policy proves successful, other languages will then be ‘invited’ too on Newropeans-Magazine.

4) Bonn - Third city reached by Newropeans in Germany

In the last weeks, Newropeans went west! After Berlin and Frankfurt/Main, Newropeans has launched a local network in Bonn on 15 March 2006. If you want to join the team of Newropeans-pioneers-on-the-Rhine, or if you want to be informed on future activities, contact bonn@newropeans.org.

5) German books on Europe by Newropeans members… and others

In Berlin and other places, Harald Greib’s book gains increasing attention. His satire on life and politics in EU-Brussels was presented at the Leipzig book-fair and for a sneak preview in Berlin on 3 March 2006. Interestingly, it is not the only German book this spring giving an inside view into the malfunctioning of the EU. The well-known Hans Herbert von Arnim, Professor at Speyer University, has just published his "Europa-Komplott" - different styles, same message: there is urgency to regain democratic control over a system running wild. 6) Newropeans-in-Paris teaches its members how to present Newropeans

In the past 2 months, Newropeans-in-Paris has started holding free public-speaking training sessions for its members. In turns, each member is invited to make a speech and present Newropeans in his/her own manner in front of the group. The experience proves extremely successful and members are eager to increase their self-confidence when speaking about Newropeans.

This is the "Euroglish" version of the Newropeans Newsletter
Euroglish is a version of English language used on the European continent, which is not produced, translated or proof-read by an English native speaker.
Newropeans, as many trans-European operators, is facing a growing limitation to its use of the English language due to the scarcity of available English native speakers or translators in Europe outside the British Isles.
As Newropeans is the only political movement speaking the languages of all European Union citizens, it is steadily developing a communication in all EU languages.
For the time being Euroglish is also used (as French or German) to communicate towards people when their own language is not yet available within Newropeans communication. By June 2006, when all EU languages will be integrated within Newropeans communication, Newropeans will stop using Euroglish for its public communication. English versions will be available for Irish and British people, but only if native speakers from these countries are providing the English version.
